Hi, Im Melanie
Hair Extension entrepreneur, reality TV junkie and mom to 2 little ones.
I started in the hair extension industry over 15 years ago. Since then
I have built a million dollar extension business and trained thousands of extension technicians across North America.
The one thing I noticed with our students was that most of them loved hair and the beauty industry but they really struggled with the business, sales and marketing part.
I found the most successful students weren't the best at extensions but they were just better at marketing themselves. That is why I decided to create Hair Flair Academy. A learning platform designed for hair extension artists to learn the skills they need to grow a profitable and successful business. I want to show you that the business and marketing part is actually easy when you have the right guidance and tools. Oh and I'll give you tons of helpful extension info too!
Meet Jody
Jody is a hair stylist turned extension only artist. She educates salons and stylists on everything extensions.
"I have been a stylist here in Ontario Canada for over 15 years and made a major pivot in my career for the past 10. I literally live and breath all things hair extensions and am lucky enough to share this passion along side my mentor/bestie Melanie. If you ask the hubs, we are major extension GEEKS and seriously need to find a hobby.
I have spent the past 10 years of my career as a beauty professional flying across North America and meeting with some of the most sought after stylist, hair schools and individuals, sharing the power of knowledge and skill within the world of hair extensions.
I’m super serious about our mission to help create the best, most successful hair extension techs. I give each and everyone of my students 100% and have a heck of a lot of fun doing so.
