Are you making nano extension sectioning mistakes? Sectioning is a crucial part of the nano extension application process, and it's important to ensure it's done properly to ensure a safe and natural-looking result.
Learn some common sectioning mistakes and how to prevent them in order to help achieve beautiful hair extensions in this article below, and AVOID❌ These three common sectioning mistakes😱👇
Having your section too close to the clients scalp is something we see ALL the time. It restricts the movement of the hair and if the client decided to wear her hair up, it can very easily rip her hair out of her head. Not to mention sections this tight are usually quite uncomfortable for the client.
Having a messy section with little hairs sticking out all over the place is going to make it difficult for your client to brush or manage their hair at all because those hairs sticking out are going to get caught and rip out. We recommend using a small clip to keep baby hairs out of the way.
Although it is a tiny bead, you need to remember to pull enough hair in each section to properly hold the bead and support the weight of the extension.
Proper sections are SO IMPORTANT when installing hair extensions.
Proper sections should…
✨ Have NO🙅♀️ cross hairs
✨ Lay flat to the scalp
✨ Have 180° movement
✨ Have NO🙅♀️ over direction
✨ Hide the extension bond
